If you have a complaint about our school

We would like you to tell us about it. We welcome suggestions for improving our work in school and want to know if you have any concerns.

This complaints procedure is not limited to parents or carers of children that are registered at the school. Any person, including members of the public, may make a complaint to Sutton in Craven CP School about any provision of facilities or services that we provide. Unless complaints are dealt with under separate statutory procedures (such as appeals relating to exclusions or admissions), we will use this complaints procedure.

Be assured that no matter what you wish to tell us, our support and respect for you and your child in the school will not be affected in any way. If you have a concern please let us know as soon a possible. It is difficult for us to properly investigate an incident or problem that has happened some time ago. There is an attachment at the foot of the page which will give your more information about what  will happen if you choose to make a complaint.

Please be aware that depending on circumstances, the Governing Body may not decide to consider a complaint about something that happened more than two months ago.
