On Friday 26th May the school hosted a non-uniform day to help raise funds for Martin House Children’s Hospice . Gavin Phillis the Craven School Games Organiser is cycled from Cowling Primary School to Bentham Primary School visiting 16 primary schools in total along the way including ours!
Gavin delivers the School Games programme across Craven allowing schools to participate in cluster, area and county competitions. He has set up the cycling challenge to help raise funds after the charity supported his wife, himself and his family after some very difficult personal circumstances. As a school we are delighted to support this challenge and ask that each child pays £1 to attend school in non uniform. All the money raised will go to the Martin House Children Hospice Charity
