We pride ourselves on the appearance of our school and this includes the expectation of school uniform.
There is plenty of choice within our uniform code for children to celebrate their individuality:
- Skirts or pinafore – grey or ‘school tartan’
- Trousers or shorts – black or grey
- Summer dresses – green or purple gingham
- Trousers or shorts – grey or back
- Polo shirts – white, purple or jade (with or without embroidered school badge)
- School sweatshirt – jade or purple with embroidered school badge
PE kit:
- Plain or school badge white/purple or jade t shirt and plain black shorts
- Purple hoodie – embroidered with school badge
- Jogging bottoms – black or grey
- Suitable outdoor trainers and black pumps for inside.
Every child has a named school PE bag which is porvided by school on starting school. PE should be worn on the class designated PE day. Please ensure PE kit is labelled with your child’s name. Replacement PE bags can be purchased from the school office. Children from Y1-Y6 need black shorts, white T shirt and pumps/trainers. You might like to send them with dark coloured jogging bottoms and a school purple sports hoodie when the weather gets colder. Your child will be able to tell you whether they are planning inside or outside PE this term. We do not have the space to store large unwieldy bags and ask that children do not bring them into school—school book bags can be purchased for home learning/reading books. Jewellery including hooped earrings are not permitted. Pierced earrings should be removed for PE.

Please note that we do not encourage children to wear brightly coloured trainers and shoes with flashing lights as these can be a great distraction in school.
Lunch boxes Your child’s lunchbox needs to fit the trollies which take standard size childrens’ lunchboxes—they are not built to store large bags. Ruck sacks are NOT allowed in school.
Pencil Cases Your child does not need a pencil case in school— everything they need is provided by school.
PE Bags—every child is given a name PE bag when they start school. These should be brought every Monday and taken home for washing every Friday. Replacement Bangs can be brought from the school office. We are very limited in cloakroom space so children must use the school PE bag.
Reading Bags Please buy a school reading bag—we do not have the space to store large unwieldy bags ie rucksacks, and ask that children do not bring them into school—school reading bags can be purchased for home learning/reading books/learning logs; these can be bought from MC sports or the school office
Water Bottle can be bought through the school office—all children NEED a water bottle EVERY day
Learning Logs—at the beginning of the school your child will be given a learning log for the year—it contains lots of valuable information that your child will need throughout the school year ahead.
