Y6 Residential

Every year our Year 6 Pupils have the opportunity to spend a week at Bewerley Park Centre for Outdoor Education.

Opened in 1964 this is a North Yorkshire School staffed by specialist outdoor education staff who lead the daily activities. Our children are accompanied by Sutton CP Staff who oversee the pastoral care of our children.

The week is all about developing:-
•Team building
•Communication Skills
•Listening
•Mutual Respect

The Bewerley Park site is adjacent to the Nidderdale Showground close to the centre of the pretty town of Pateley Bridge. Children sleep in dormitory style accommodation with Sutton CP staff in the same blocks. There are on site dining facilities; the food is home cooked and plentiful. Children have a cooked breakfast and dinner and hot lunch on the day of arrival and departure. Packed lunches are provided on full activity days. Homemade cakes/biscuits and hot drinks are available at supper time.
