First-class rounders
On Wednesday the 8th June 11 of our Y5 and 6 children went to South Craven for the rounders tournament. We played five matches against other local schools and were up against some strong competitors, but all our practice at lunchtimes had paid off. Whether we were fielding or batting our team was focused, worked really well together and ran their little legs off and we won the competition by winning all five matches - outstanding result! I was so proud of our team, how they organised the subs, how they encouraged each other, how much effort they put in and how proud they were representing our school. We definitely have the best kids and the best parents to support them all the way!
