Performing Arts Festival @ South Craven School

An opportunity for Sutton CP Pupils to get to know children from neighbouring primary schools. This event is kindly hosted by South Craven School.

Parents of children attending will need to collect them from Sutton CP at 3.30 and take them to South Craven where a member of our staff will be ready to support them. . We are sorry but it is not possible for Sutton CP Staff to take children to the event.

Information from South Craven School

  • There will be workshops in the following subjects: Drama, Dance and Music. Students will get to experience one of these art forms. 
  • Students get to do a mix of Music, Dance and Acting. 
  • Students are to wear their school uniform and can bring a bottle of water. Please ensure girls wear trousers and bring a hair bobble. Students taking part in the Dance workshop will need to wear either indoor white shoes or bare feet (for health and safety reasons, students cannot be in tights or socks) Students must be accompanied by a member of staff from your school. 
  • Students should report to the main reception at 3.45pm, where they will then make their way to the Fells hall to allow for a prompt 4.00pm start. The workshops will finish for 6.00pm and students should be collected from Fells Hall directly as the main reception will be closed at this time. Parents are unable to stay for the workshops but are invited to watch the students’ final performances. If parents would like to attend then they should report to Fells Hall at 5.30pm. Gates will be opened to allow access and signage will be displayed to direct parents.
