Y3&Y4 Visit to Clitheroe Castle - Oct 17

Monday, 9 October, 2017 - 09:00

Clitheroe Castle Museum stands high on Castle Hill, in the shadow of the keep, an image which has dominated Clitheroe's skyline for over 800 years. It tells the story of Clitheroe and its surrounding area: the formation of the land 350 million years ago; the people who have lived in the area - their work, their homes, their leisure times; and legends and folklore. This week Y3 and Y4 enjoyed a day learning all about its history as part of their project then, after lunch, we visited the museum, spent our money in the gift shop and had a trip to the nearby park.

Many thanks to Mr Horton for organising a great Year Three and Four trip!

Everyone had a brilliant time. Please have a look through the photos to see some of the exciting activities we all enjoyed.
