Sutton's Got Brass! - The Peoples Lottery

WE WANT TO SHARE SOME AMAZING NEWS!!!

From today we are able to tell the amazing news that we have got through to the finals of the Big Lottery.

How?
During the summer holiday we submitted a bid to form a community brass band based in our school and called our project ‘Sutton’s Got Brass.’
Why?
Brass playing is part of the musical heritage of our area and we want local children and their families to have the opportunity to play in a community brass   band based in our village.
What happens next?
• On 14 November a film  crew from Yorkshire TV will come into school to film our project.
• On 25 November our project will be shown on 'Calendar' news and a telephone voting number will be given.
The project which receives the most phone votes wins the money.

How can you help?
• We need adults who would be prepared to come into school to appear on the TV project (don’t worry you don’t need to speak or act or even play an instrument!)
• We need your help to spread the word about our project – through family, friends and work contacts.
• We will need volunteers to deliver leaflets and fliers in the area and further afield to publicize our project

It would be marvellous if we could win!
