Year 2 have had an extremely exciting and busy autumn term!
Fallen Fields.
We found our first topic this half term, Fallen Fields, extremely interesting and we did lots of fantastic learning about the heroes of World War One and what life and school was like between 1914 and 1918. We also enjoyed a day of drama about WW1. We completed the topic on the 11th of November with a day of remembrance.
Dinosaur Planet.
Our second topic of the term was all about Dinosaurs. We LOVED this topic and had a brilliant time learning about dinosaurs through reading lots of books and using the computers. We worked with Year 1 to create an art exhibition based on Dinosaurs. All the amazing art work can be seen in the entrance hall for the next half term, come in and take a look!
P.E/Games.
This term we have been learning lots of new skills to enable us to play sports like football and rugby. We love our P.E lessons and like always, we have been eager to learn and develop new and exciting skills.
