A marvellous magical and emotional afternoon in the life of our school!
On an afternoon of glorious sunshine, our first ever Race for Life took place in Sutton Park. Organised by our marvellous Fundraising Family led by the remarkable Miss Ibbotson, two hundred children and their mums, aunties and grandmas ran 5k (9 laps) of the park. Reading the cards on the runners’ backs it was clear that the cause was deeply personal to many. By the end of the race red faces matched the pink and red shirts but there were big smiles all round. Once again, our school, and our community have made us so proud.
