‘A massive thank you for organising 'Race for Life' and giving our children such a positive outlet where they can channel both their physical and, in the case of many, emotional energies. This event isn't about one afternoon it's about opening lines of communication for our young people about a subject which is often shrouded in fear. Following the extremely successful 'Race for Life' last year, our Fundraising Family is once again held its very own event for Cancer Research UK - all 205 children took part along with 41 family members.
By taking part in ‘Race for Life’ and uniting together against cancer, we did something really special.
Cancer Research UK receives no government funding for their research, so the more of us who join the fight against cancer, the more money we can raise to beat cancer sooner!
