Mini Olympic Champions - Jul 19

On 26th June seventeen Y1 and Y2 children had fantastic fun at South Craven trying their best at lots of different skills and races as part of the Mini Olympics competition. Once children were put into two groups they had to work together as a team, which they did brilliantly. They had to do lots of running, skipping, ball handling, hockey and football dribbles, throwing beanbags, long jumping, balancing tennis balls on rackets and much more. It was a long event, but throughout the competition all our children showed superb passion, had big smiles on their faces and had lots of fun. Not only did one of our teams win 1st place - amazing, but every single pupil was a true credit to our school. You were awesome Team Y1/2 and we are super proud of you all.
