Staff Profile

I have been a teacher of Key Stage 2 pupils for 21 years after graduating with a degree in English Literature and a PGCE in Primary Teaching. I am currently in my eleventh year as a member of the teaching staff at Sutton CP School and I am very proud to be part of such a warm, thriving, progressive and exciting school community. At present I teach our wonderful Year 6 class; I am enjoying seeing our learners grow and I have particular interests in Arts and Literacy! I am the happy mother of one daughter who was once a pupil of our school and loved every minute of it! She is now thriving at secondary school and enjoying all of the opportunities it presents to her. Outside of school, you are likely to find me in the great outdoors, gardening or engaged in a craft/DIY project of some form!
