On 11th November 2020 we observed Armistice Day. All classes spent the day focused on Remembrance. The local churches produced a video service for schools. At 11 o'clock our school fell quiet as the two minute silence was observed. Mrs Fletcher and Mrs Beetles stood at the village cenotaph on behalf our school family. Each year we think of the children of our village who served our country and whose names are now engraved on the stone. Earlier in the week Annabelle and Jack, the two oldest pupils in school laid our wreath which contained handwritten message from Jacob in Y6. Special thanks to Rev Brian, Rev Rob, Laura and their teams for the lovely service, it was memorable.
