How You Can Help Your Child Learn

We always really value the support we have from parents in helping their child with their learning.

In Reception home learning is organised through Tapestry - full details are on the Reception class page.

Across the rest of school, home learning is organisedin different ways - for example  - weekly spelling lists, daily reading records, Google classroom, timestables or printed sheets.

Examples of home learning may include:

  • Daily reading

  • Basic Number Facts

  • Times-tables (KS2)

  • Spellings

  • Special projects

Remote Education Provision

There may be very rare occasions where the school needs to implement remote learning - such as we did during the 2020/2021 Covid pandemic.

The latest Government Advice regarding remote learning provision can be found here.

Please find attached documents that described our previous approach to Remote Learning. These policies and guidance will be updated should we need to implement a whole-school remote learning approach in the future.
