Sutton In Craven Community Primary School

Welcome
Sutton-in-Craven CP School is a place where children grow with confidence, curiosity and kindness.
We’re proud to be a vibrant and welcoming community school where every child is encouraged to thrive.
Our school is full of energy, with plenty of exciting learning opportunities and activities taking place every day. This website gives you a glimpse into life at our school and offers information for visitors, parents and pupils.

Our vision is:
We are an aspirational place where learners grow.
Our school is kind and happy and we respect and celebrate the differences in ourselves, our community and our world.
Our children become responsible, determined and independent citizens.
A Very Warm Welcome From Our Head

Since becoming Headteacher, I’ve felt incredibly fortunate to be part of such a special school. Our children are a joy to work with, our families are wonderfully supportive, and we’re lucky to have a dedicated team of staff and governors who go above and beyond every day.

At the heart of our school is a strong sense of community. We believe in growing and learning together—supporting one another to be the very best we can be.
We hope this website gives you a glimpse into what makes our school so unique: the values we live by, the learning experiences we offer, and the high expectations we hold for every child.

We’re ambitious for our pupils. Through a rich, engaging curriculum and a wide range of opportunities, we aim to inspire children to see the world of possibilities ahead of them. We want every child to leave our school as a confident, responsible and independent young person with a lifelong love of learning.

Sutton in Craven is a kind and happy place where every child is encouraged to respect and celebrate difference—in themselves, in others, and in the wider world.

Warm regards,
Mrs Anna Riley
Headteacher

Providing Feedback
Parents and carers of this school can give their views of our school at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View which has replaced Ofsted’s paper questionnaire.
Please register with an email address and a password at https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to complete answers to 12 short questions about aspects such as bullying, the quality of teaching, level of homework, etc.
Your views are important in helping inspectors and school leadership make decisions about our school, and to help us know what is going well and what could be improved.
If you do not have a computer or an email address or if you would like help to use Parent View, please come into school and ask at reception.
