Advice from parents...

We asked the parents of children who started Reception in September 2014:-

'What advice would you give to a parent of a child starting school in Sepetmber 2015?'

This is what they said...

  • Not to worry
  • Look at website and just take each day as it comes, the children are nurtured and cared for excellently
  • You have chosen an excellent school
  • It is a very stressful time but everyone seems so nice at school, they will soon settle in
  • Need waterproofs and wellies. Not to worry as all staff are fantastic and your child will be well looked after
  • Attend all induction days, have a good look around school, meet the teacher etc. and attend the events
  • It’s a very good school
  • Not to be worried – fantastic school
  • I would say not to worry and be confident of a good school
  • Look forward to it and not to worry
  • It will all fall into place and staff here are lovely and approachable
  • So far it seems a fab school and she loves coming
  • To not worry about sending their children here because it is a lovely warm and friendly school
  • Make sure all uniform is sorted well before September.
  • Visit the school, check Ofsted, ask current parents.
  • To trust that your child will enjoy reception and have fun
  • It’s a great school
  • Our observation is the children thoroughly enjoy their time at school
  • Come to all the pre start events (open days etc.) so child is familiar with setting.
