Annual Walk to the Pinnacles – July 2015

On the morning of 13 July, despite the glorious summer rain and mist KS2  together with a group of intrepid adults set out for their annual hike to the top of ‘The Pinnacles’ which overlook Sutton in Craven and the surrounding area.  Everyone came well prepared for the walk through the village and up the back lanes to the top. Often blessed by a glorious view from the top this year the view was rather misty but still rewarding. After a rather hasty (and soggy)  picnic everyone set off downhill back  to school – a rather quicker journey! There was even time to dry out before home time. As ever thanks to our staff and other adult helpers who ensured that despite the weather the annual treat took place. Let’s hope for better weather next year!
