Friday, 18 March is our termly KS2 Intraschool sports afternoon. Children from across KS2 will be in mixed aged teams for an afternoon of netball in Sutton Park. Parents and carers are welcome to join us from 1.15. KS2 children can come dressed in school sports kit for the day—we recommend jogging bottoms and hoodies/school sweatshirts on top of black shorts and white T shirts. They will need sensible footwear (trainers) as they will be doing a lot of running around.
As it is also ‘Sports Relief’ day www.comicrelief.com/sportrelief the Fundraising Family have seen this as an opportunity to raise money for the charity. In addition to their ‘penny war’, on 18 March—(bring as many pennies into school on 18 March—class with the most pennies wins a prize) they have also arranged to go bag packing at Cross Hills Coop with donations from both activities going to support the work of Sports Relief.
