On Wednsday 29th March a wonderful group of 14, Y6 Kildwick pupils came to the netball festival we hosted in Sutton Park. Our children had been super excited about this event for weeks, and it did not disappoint.
With 2 Kildwick teams and 3 Sutton CP Y5/6 teams, we had a very busy hour with lots of thrilling matches played against each other. It was a privilege to witness such great attitude, sportsmanship, teamwork and joy from every single player involved. All the children enjoyed this experience and there was a sea of smiley, happy faces at the end, leaving both parties wanting for more. We are very grateful to the Kildwick team for walking down to us and making this festival possible.
