Haworth Trip

In June, Year 5 had a wonderful and very successful trip to Haworth recently, immersing themselves in the rich literary history right on our doorstep. The children had the exciting experience of travelling on the steam train, which was a real highlight of the day, before participating in an engaging workshop and tour of the Brontë Parsonage. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to see some real history in this beautiful location and bring their learning to life. The children were absolutely fascinated by the stories of the Brontë family and the chance to explore the rooms where these famous authors lived and wrote. Year 5 were a real credit to themselves throughout the day, demonstrating excellent behaviour, curiosity and enthusiasm. A huge thank you to all the staff who accompanied the trip, particularly Mrs Whitehead who organised and coordinated the event so well – experiences like these create memories that last a lifetime.
