On the morning of 18 July, with fingers crossed that the early mist would turn to sun, KS2 together with a group of intrepid adults set out for their annual hike to the top of ‘The Pinnacles’ which overlook Sutton in Craven and the surrounding area. Everyone came well prepared for the walk through the village and up the back lanes to the top. By the time they reached the top they were blessed by a glorious view as the sun burst through the clouds. It gives our lucky children a real sense of place as they stand on high looking out for local landmarks amongst the glorious views. Yes - you can see the school from up there - just! After a relaxed picnic everyone set off with full tummies downhill back to school. As ever thanks to our staff and other adult helpers who ensured that this now annual treat took place. Same time next year?
